Quick and Easy Holiday Invitations
Hello friends! Kathy here today with some quick and easy invitations to use for your holiday events.
Here are the supplies you will need to get started:
- Welcome Home Stamp Set
- Winter Weaves Paper Collection
- Gold Metallic cardstock
- Small rectangle Die
- White A2 card base
- Perfect Blend Alcohol Marker Cardstock
- Gilded Metallic Embossing Powder
- Embossing Ink
- Anti-static powder tool
- Heat tool
- Embellishments
- Liquid adhesive
- Foam tape
- Coloring medium, pencils or markers
Select a few flowers and foliage stems from the stamp set and arrange on a panel of Perfect Blend cardstock in a stamping platform.
Use an anti-static powder tool on the cardstock and then stamp the images with embossing ink. Dust with Gilded embossing powder and set using a heat tool. I typically rotate the paper and create a second set of images as backup or for a second project.Stamp the You’re Invited sentiment on a small piece of white cardstock with embossing ink, add embossing powder and heat set. Center the sentiment and die cut with a small rectangle die. If you don’t have a die, trim the sentiment leaving borders on both sides to adhere your festive foliage.
Color the images with your preferred medium. (I used alcohol markers.)Fussy cut all pieces and set aside.
Select a piece of patterned cardstock from the Winter Weaves paper collection. Since my images were mostly red, I went with a predominately green pattern. Trim patterned paper to 5 ¼ x 2. Trim a piece of gold metallic cardstock to 5 3/8 x 2 1/8.
Adhere patterned paper to gold cardstock, the adhere to the lower portion of the card front.
Place the sentiment in the center of panel and arrange the flowers around the rectangle. Once you are pleased with the placement, adhere the sentiment using foam tape and all foliage with liquid adhesive.
Finish by adding a few gold embellishments.
Hope this quick and easy invitation inspires you to share the joy of the season with others.
