Holiday Gift Tags
Hello and thank you for stopping by! Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite things to make during the holidays - gift tags! We will be using ATC blanks and several different stamp sets today - this is a time to bring out all your favorites to mix and match and make great tags!
First, I want to show you how I make the tag base. Normally when I make a tag like this, I will adhere my patterned paper to the ATC blank first, but I did not do that for these pictures, because I think it is easier to show you my process with a blank ATC.
All you will need to make the tag base are a pair of scissors and a hole punch. First, we need to make a cut across one corner to start the tag - do not discard the piece you cut off.
Next, take the piece you cut off from the first corner, flip it over, and align it on the opposite corner.
That shows you exactly where you need to cut to make the sides even.
Next, we just need to punch a hole and then you've got your tag! If you are adding decorative paper to the entire background, it is easier to do that before you do the cutting and hole punch. And for ATCs, the measurement for the piece of 2.5 x 3.5".
Once you have your bases made, its time for the fun part! Adding stamps and dies and glitter of course!
