Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone! This week I'm working with the amazing August stencil of the month! This has to be a recent favorite of mine! I wanted the glaze and stencil detail to show the most for this project. I began by using Night Sky and Pumpkin Patch Velveteen Glaze applied over the stencil on white cardstock. 

Once I peeled back the stencil, I really liked the mix of color that was left and decided to flip the stencil over and "stamp" it onto another sheet of white cardstock. I used the "stamped" piece for the first layer of my card, then layered the traditional way to use a stencil on top (layered on plain white cardstock for a visual break). Lastly, I used the happy birthday and a few heart stamps from the extra sentimental stamp set to finish my card off. This was super fun and a great masculine card!
