Halloween Tunnel Card

Hello crafty friends! Lauren here, sharing this fun Halloween tunnel card! For the construction of the card base itself, I follow a tutorial from Jennifer McGuire that you can find here: https://youtu.be/ovq9zxs40nc

I constructed the card base from Marsala cardstock, used Locomotive surface ink and a stencil on Sidewalk cardstock to make the cloudy background for the inside of the card. Then I heat embossed the Halloween images onto aqua pigment paper with Sterling EP. I used color burst powders and a water brush to color the pumpkins and the zombie hands, and a gray watercolor marker for the headstones and the bats. I fussy cut the images and arranged the bats, headstones and zombie hands on the various layers of the tunnel inside the card.

For the outside of the card, I cut a square of Raven cardstock and then fussy cut one of the haunted houses from the new toner sheets. These can be foiled in all different colors, but I didn't have any black foil on hand! So I used the plain toner sheet and glued the cut out image to the Raven cardstock. I used glue and foam tape to arrange the pumpkins and headstones, and then glued the whole thing to the card front. I stamped a couple of bats with Raven ink to finish off the front. For the sentiment, I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment onto Marsala cardstock with Raven detail ink, and then stamped over it with embossing ink and heat set it with Icicle (clear) embossing powder. I fussy cut around the sentiment and glued it to a rectangle of Raven cardstock and adhered the whole thing to the inside of the card.
