Grateful card

Grateful card

Hello friends.

Welcome to another Monday with yours truly.

This week’s card is specially easy and quick but also carries a strong and truthful message with it.

This stamp measures 3x4 and I wanted it to be the center and star of the card, so I refrained from doing any coloring.

I stamped my sentiment on a white piece of card stock and cut around it using a pretty die from Gina Marie designs.

I chose two different papers from the last Brutus Monroe release for my card base.  Gray is my favorite color so these two pieces of paper were perfect.

I glued my polka dotted paper to a card base and I inked the edges using surface ink and a blending sponge. Immediately after I distressed the edges using a sharp distressing tool.

I glued my sentiment piece to a smaller piece of the other gray lined paper and mounted it onto fun foam and placed it to the side of my base where I thought it looked better.  I finished it off by placing a couple of enamel dots onto the white paper to the everything together and called it a day.

That is it from me today but don’t forget to come back on Wednesday for our weekly blog hop.

See you all the.

I love large, inspiring messages that you can easily use on the outside or inside of the card. This 3×4 sentiment can be stamped on the front of your card, directly on the cardstock for an easy and encouraging one layer card. You can change the color of ink or cardstock to change the look of the card or add some die cut images or sequins to create a set to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Every card doesn’t have to be intricate to make a statement. This stamped sentiment will help deliver a beautiful message to someone you care about and that never goes out of style.
