Gnome One Like You

Hey everyone!

It's Jessica. Today I have a cute gnome card to share with you! These little guys are so cute. I have a gnome, looks similar to this one, that my mother gave me for Christmas last year and he is all blue and purple so I took some inspiration from that.

I stamped the gnome from the Gnome Place Like Home with Raven Detail ink. To color this one in I used some Copic markers, I'll have the colors listed below. While stamping the gnome I also stamped a couple of the presents on either side. 

After the coloring was finished I trimmed down the cardstock to 4'' X 5.25'' and prepped the edges and upper left part with the Brutus Monroe Magic Powder Bag. This will keep embossing powder from sticking to my finger prints or in places I don't want it. I first stamped the sentiment "There's Gnome on like you" with Embossing Clear ink and poured Gilded embossing powder over the top. 

Once that was heat set and melted to a smooth texture I swiped the same embossing ink along all four edges and poured the Gilded embossing powder over those areas too. I love adding this texture embossed border to edges of panels, especially when I decide to do white card stock on white card stock.

I used the Not Your Mamma's card stock as my card base and added a snowflake to the top left hand corner. I used a alcohol marker to tint that snowflake yellow. 

These gnomes are so fun and with a sentiment like the one I used, you could use these for many different occasions.
