Fun with Chroma Glaze!

Fun with Chroma Glaze!

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Chroma glazes are so beautiful and can be used in so many different ways! You can use them through stencils to achieve so many beautiful patterns and designs. But you can also use them with brushes, sponges, and much more!

I used the Copper Chroma Glaze for this card - and I just love the way the background turned out. This is such a great product!

Today, I want to share two different ways that I used Chroma Glazes to make backgrounds with beautiful texture.

To start with, I put some chroma glaze out onto my work surface and then used a brush to apply in diagonal strokes across a piece of Aqua Pigment paper. This provides a thin layer that dries pretty quickly and then you can add additional layers to achieve the look you want.

The other way I used the chroma glaze was using a sponge ink blending tool and dabbed it all over the background. This method left a really neat texture once dry!

You have to wait until the Chroma Glaze is dry to appreciate the full beauty - especially the metallic ones! Check out this coppery goodness!!

Once dry, you can die cut this and it cuts beautifully! For this card, I used the Dotted Heart die set to cut out the shadow of the heart from this Chroma Glaze background.

What different ways have you used Chroma Glazes? Tag me on Instagram - I'd love to see your creations! @purple_puppy_papercrafting
