Fly!
For today's card, I am using the Brutus Monroe, Flutter background stamp. After my first card using Copic Markers with this stamp, I wanted to try something different.

Stamping with this Brutus Monroe stamp is amazing! Completely clear and crisp ~

I pulled out my Zig markers and went to work. After finishing the water coloring, I started adding Stickles glitter glue, although any brand would work.

I used the following Stickles: Blueberry Ice, Sunburst, Lavender, Cherry Ice, Lime Ice and Star Dust, matching each to the color of the butterfly.

Only wanting the 'Believe' of the sentiment, I positioned the stamp to put the word where I wanted then added a strip of washi tape over the "in" on the second line. Carefully, I inked the word Believe, then discarded the washi tape and continued stamping "Believe" in the center.
Next I added the scripture address "Philippians 4:13". This will lead the receiver of this card to the scripture, " I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
This background stamp is quite large and I needed this card to be a bit smaller. I cut a black mat using Tattered Lace Nested Beaded Chain Square (discontinued) die that was about 5 1/4" square. Then cut the colored image to fit just inside the framed edge, leaving the appearance of another black mat. I selected a deep grey card stock piece and made the card base. For the final touch I added three small diamond like dots randomly around the card and one for the 'dot of the i".

Glittered cards are hard to photograph, as was this one. The entire card is a lot more sparkly than it appears. I appreciate you stopping by today and hope you like today's card. Your comments are always welcome.
