Fall Foil Wreath Card
Hi all.
I hope you are enjoying this week of posts showing the Brutus Monroe/Deco Foil collaborative. It has been a lot of fun working with the Deco Foil products. I personally love all of their products and am looking forward to using them in future projects. I would have to say my favorite item (besides the great foil itself) is the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen. It is so easy to use to be able to foil parts of the project.
I used my favorite Deco Foil product during this creation. I stamped, cut and colored the Brutus Monroe Autumn Thanks leaves using Style File alcohol markers (available at Brutus Monroe for the low price of $3.50 each).
I embossed a layer of cardstock using the Brutus Monroe Vintage Tapestry Embossing Folder, then I used the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen to edge the layer and Deco foiled it with gold. I added Deco Foil Adhesive around the edges of my colored leaves and Deco Foiled them with gold also.
Layered the card with various fall colors adding the embossed layer on top, arranged the leaves to form a wreath and added the sentiment. I used the Brutus Monroe Autumn Thanks sentiment on a Brutus Monroe Stitched Tag Die. Finally I added some gold thread and a small paper clip embellishment to the tag to finish the card.
