Fairy Garden Canvas

Fairy Garden Canvas

Hello Friends! Today I wanted to share with you this magical canvas I made with the "Fairy Magic" and "Fairy Garden" stamp sets.

Outline the "Fairy Garden" stamp in pencil on your canvas.

Select the paint you would like your canvas to be and apply making sure to paint over the pencil outline while still leaving some canvas exposed. I ended up using a green, teal, purple, and yellow.

Use white gesso to paint over the square making sure to blend in the edges with more paint.

Stamp the "Fairy Garden" on the dried gesso square with "Detail Ink" in Raven. Don't worry if the image is not perfect. You can easily fix that later with stickles and  the stamps from "Fairy Magic".

Using Copic markers color in the "Fairy Garden".

Use chalk or watercolor pencils to fill in the background.

Stamp the images from "Fairy Magic" on a piece of card stock.

Color them in to coordinate with the canvas.

Carefully cut the images out (I used my Scan N Cut).

Using pop dots, adhere the images to the canvas. Add glitter glue and glitter Mod Podge to give it some sparkle (doesn't every fairy need some sparkle?)

I added "Love" on the side because this is for my Mom's classroom. She teaches preschool and they call her "Ms. Love". I also added a rainbow by "Lisa Kettell Designs" Etsy store. I just thought this little fairy and her garden are somewhere over a rainbow :-)

Until next time - Happy Crafting!
