Embossed Die cut Tags

Hello! Jessica here with some cute tags with sparkly elements! I used the Occasional Tags Die Set here, with Embossing Ink, and some Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder to jazz things up a bit!

The Occasional Tags Die set is super versatile and will take you through all the holidays and occasions of the year. It is perfect to make tags for all your giftgiving!

I die cut the candy cane several times from red cardstock. But I wanted to make the candy canes sparkle, so lets add some sparkly embossing powder! The easiest way I have found to do this is to use some temporary adhesive to attach the candy cane or other small die cut to a strip of cardstock. This gives you a handle, and allows you to add embossing ink and powder to the entire face of the die cut without having to hold it anywhere.

Then I realized, I could do a few at a time!

Once I had all the candy canes coated in embossing ink, I coated them with the Rainbow Sparkle embossing powder and tapped the excess off.

Then, heat set and watch the magic! It is sooooo sparkly now!

To finish this project, I die cut the medium tag from the Occasional Tags Die set from white cardstock and the different decorative borders from pieces of green glitterstock.
