Edge to Edge Shaker Card

Edge to Edge Shaker Card

Edge to edge shaker cards are my latest obsession.  I often shy away from traditional shaker cards because of all the construction that is involved.
Let me show you a quicker way to get the same effect without all that foam tape!
Brutus Monroe has lots of fun patterned paper that you can use as the insert for your shaker card. The foilable card fronts from the Beautiful Blooms Inspiration Box panels also make a great backdrop.
Measure your acetate sheet a little larger than the card base--I cut mine to 5 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. Use some strong tape to line the back edges of your card front. Use your Fold and Score Tool to fold back the acetate on three sides of the card front. (Leave the top open to fill with your shaker mix).  Add as much or as little of the shaker mix that you like and then seal the top.
Now all you need to do is attach the card front to a card base. Add some stamped images to the outside of the shaker card and you have yourself a very cute shaker card.
I'd love to see how you make your Edge-to-Edge Shakers!  Tag me on Instagram @katedeignancards
