Easy Tag made with Love Grows stamp set and Scrap Papers!

Hey, all! Hope you enjoyed all the amazing posts last week during release week! There are so many great new stamp sets in the store and the Inspiration Team knocked it out of the ballpark with their creations! This tag was shared last week when the Love Grows stamp set was featured, but I wanted to revisit it and let you know how it was built!

The base for the tag is some Ivory Cardstock from Canvas Corp Brands. To build a pattern on the background, I used the little hearts from the set and stamped them all, varying the sizes and placement. Then, the paper pieces that are layered behind the couple are just some scraps that coordinate with the color scheme.

There is some black cardstock, glitter cardstock, and light pink cardstock, along with half of a paper doily.

The heart was cut using the Cricut, and Brutus Monroe's Rouge Surface Ink was used along with a few pink Distress Inks to create the ombre coloring on it.

Next, using the Misti, the lovely couple in love was stamped several times and then fussy cut. To keep all the colors coordinating, I used a silver Wink of Stella brush pen and just colored in their clothes. This gave them a grey, sparkly coloring without being too distracting from the overall look.

The last step was to add the sentiment. I took the "I Love You" sentiment from the stamp set, stamped it on vellum, and embossed it in white. The Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink works so well along with their Alabaster Powder

Hope you enjoyed a close up look at this love themed tag!

Until next time,
