Easy Aqua Pigment Backgrounds

Easy Aqua Pigment Backgrounds

Hey friends!! Thanks for stopping by the B|M Inspiration Team Blog today. I have a few backgrounds to show you using B|M Aqua Pigments and some stamps from the Lucky You Stamp Set.  I learned this technique from my friend, Ashly Tucker.  You should look through her cards here on the blog to see what she has made using the same technique.

To create these backgrounds, I spread some Aqua Pigments in analogous colors out on my glass mat.  Analogous means they sit next to each other on the color wheel.  For the first one I used Coral, Red, and Violet.  For the second Yellow, Orange and Pink.  I dragged my Aqua Pigment Paper through the Aqua Pigments and made sure the entire panel was covered in color.  Then I used my heat tool to dry them.

I stamped the image of the larger lady bug from the Lucky You stamp set around the outer edges of each panel. Then I stamped the "You Got This" sentiment from the same stamp set near the middle.  On the more yellow panel, I also added the smaller lady bug image crawling up at an angle on the panel.

I glued the panels onto an A2 size card base and added some sequins to finish them off.

I hope you enjoyed these quick backgrounds using Aqua Pigments from Brutus Monroe.  If you are interested in purchasing any of these items, I have linked them in a grid of supplies below for your convenience.

Which set of three colors are your favorite combination?  Let me know in the comments below.
