Dreamcatching

Today I am sharing this fun card that I created using the new stamp set, DREAMCATCHING. This set has become one of my new favorites! I love the tribal inspired images and the little fox is just darling!

I started by stamping out the fox and some of the feathers, then colored them in using Prismacolor pencils. Then, I fussy cut the images and set them aside.

I wanted to create a fun watercolor background for this card so I grabbed some Verdigris Tattered Angels spray, poured a little onto an acetate sheet, and smooshed my watercolor cardstock down onto the spray. I hit the color with my heat tool and then added another layer. I kept repeating this process until I had the background just how I liked it.

With the background done, I cut out a circle of some woodgrain paper and also added some layers over that. I used a strip of black cardstock which I cut fringes into and also a strip of vellum which I embossed the sentiment on using some GILDED EMBOSSING POWDER. Then, I just tucked the feathers in behind the woodgrain circle.

I then added the fox using a little foam adhesive to pop it up a bit. Then, to finish off the card and add a little sparkle, I added some gold glitter flakes in a few areas on the card.

I love how this card turned out and also how the fox can be for a fall themed project, or just year round!

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
