Double Point Flap Fold Card
This is an easy but eye catching card fold. I really wanted my Flower Gnome girl to shine and this fold was a perfect base to do so. I used bright and cheery Doodlebug Designs paper and Chit Chat from the Fairy Garden collection and stamps from the Mouse Friends to help set the scene. I love how everything went together!
Create an Aubergine base for your card using your Foundation Rectangle 4 ¼” X 5 ⅓”.
Cut a piece of patterned paper (I used cloud pattern) to 4 x 5 ¼”.
Using your Foundation Rectangle dies cut a piece of patterned paper (pink flowers) to 3 ¼” x 4 ½”.
Using your Foundation Rectangle dies cut a piece of Perfect Blend paper to 4” x 2 ¾”.
Cut two 3” x 4” panels from pattern paper ( I used multi-colored flowers).
Take the two 3” x 4” panels and score lengthwise at 1”.
Fold 2 corners in to create points on both 3” x 4” panels.
Adhere the 4 inch side (long side) to your 4” x 5 ¼” panel (cloud pattern).
Adhere the point to the card panel at the bottom. Leave the top point only attached at the back so that the point flap is still free.
Decorate your Perfect Blend panel as desired and adhere to the flap. (To see how I assembled mine, watch the video tutorial).
Adhere decorated panel to your 3 ¼ x 4 ½” panel (pink flowers).
Attach to the top flap and add your sentiment.
