Deco Foil Thankful Banner

Deco Foil Thankful Banner

This week on the blog has brought us some AMAZING projects from the team! I hope you have been enjoying all the projects as much as I have. This last Deco Foil post I have for you is this fun fall banner. I was loving the look of the foil so much that I just had to create some home decor to hang up along with my wall arrangements.

I started my banner by grabbing some kraft cardstock cut into banner shapes and then applied some TRANSFER GEL over Brutus Monroe's stencils, PAINT SPOTS and PUGSLEY. After the gel was completely dry, I ran the banner shapes through my laminator with my Deco Foil to adhere the foil to the gel.

My next step was to punch holes into each banner piece and then string them together on some white string, tying some raffia in between each piece. Then, I painted some chipboard letters white to spell the word "thankful".

I then punched some kraft circles and white cardstock circles and layered then behind each letter. The last thing I did was glue a little raffia bow with a button on the top of each banner piece.

I then hung my finished banner up on the wall along with my picture arrangement. The foil and kraft cardstock is a perfect Autumn combination and the "thankful" word it great for Thanksgiving! You could always mix up your colors or wording you want on your banner and customize this project for any theme or holiday!

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop by the THERMOWEB BLOG as well to see what they have been up to this week!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
