Dear Friend

I have never really given envelope art much thought, but after this week's project, I'm completely inspired to do this for every card from now on!!  It really makes me smile!

This week, I'm using the July subscription stamp for my project. I began the envelope by using masking paper to block off where I wanted the address, return address, mouse and cheese. I used two shades of yellow ink and more masking paper with circle cut outs to create the cheese background. Once the background was complete, I removed all masking paper and did my stamping and handwritten address. Once all ink was dry, I colored my mouse and cheese with markers to coordinate. I created the card using the same circle dies, this time making it a different layer to pop up on foam adhesive in the end. I am head over heels in love with this project and I encourage you to give it a try!
