Celebrate Today!

Celebrate Today!

Today is my youngest birthday, so I thought I would share a card for celebration. I love how this card turn out.

I started buy using ink blending my background with Seedless Preserves, Broken China and Bundled Sage.  Then used Alabaster Glitter Glaze over the Fancy Fan stencil.  I set my panel aside to dry and ink blended the same inks on some scrap white paper.  For the one of the scraps, I combined the blue and green together. and set the ink with my heat tool.

After treating each scrap with my antistatic tool, I stamped two of the large firework and one of the small firework (from Happy New Year) with Embossing Ink. After, I covered the sticking ink with Icicle Embossing Powder, I heat set them. Then, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Once my panel was dry, I cut it down to 4" x 5.25" and popped up the fireworks in the center of each of the "fans." I needed just a little bit of blue on the littlest firework, so I added some Broken China to the left side before I adhered it to the panel.

For my sentiment, I stamped the Celebrate Today (Textured Wings) in the Broken China ink that I covered with Icicle Embossing Powder.  I used the rectangle die from the Simply Sweet Die set and adhered it to the bottom right of my panel.  Finally, to finish off my card, I attached the entire panel to a White A2 Card base.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to CELEBRATE TODAY!
