Cacti Background Coloring

Cacti Background Coloring

Hey everyone!
It's Jessica. Today I have another Copic colored card but I'm using the Cacti Background stamp! How fun is this image, I love it and think it is so fun. I have a love for cacti, probably because they are so different then the evergreen trees here in the Pacific Northwest.
I really wanted to showcase the green and coral of the Cacti, so I kept the pots very neutral. I'll have the Copic Markers I used listed below. I cut down the panel to 5.25in x 5.25in, this card ends up being a 5.5 inch square card.
To add to the lovely coral color though, I took a scrap piece of Aqua Pigment paper and spritzed it with clean water then distributed a few drops of Red Aqua Pigment. I love how these watercolors feather out. So pretty! I added some more clean water to get the pigment moving on the paper then heat set with a heat gun. I took a heart die from my stash and die cut the watercolor.
This is where I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the CactI Background stamp. My first step with embossing is to use the Embossing Powder Magic bag then stamped the sentiment with Clear embossing ink and added Alabaster embossing powder. Nothing better then a clean bright white embossed sentiment!
Copic Markers Used:
W6, W4, W1
G46, G94
G17, G14
YG03, YG01
R14, R12
For a final touch I added a few of the Galaxy Black Prism Sequins. I just can't stop adding these sequins where ever possible.
Thank you so much for joining me today!
