Butterfly Wishes
Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a colorful card using the August Die of the Month! For anyone that knows me and my style, I love using things from stash in my projects, especially the mounds of backgrounds I have created just waiting for the right project! For this card I have used the die on a gel press printed background from my stash twice and then adhered one to a white cardstock matte. Blue cardstock was added to the top of the first die cut. The blue paper was cut on the edge using the same die in order to place them together. The second die cut was adhered to white cardstock and then fussy cut and layered between a Teal and a white circle. This was all then adhered to a card base created using dark teal cardstock.
The white circle is stamped with the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Extra Sentimental Stamp Set using Raven Detail Ink. To add a bit more dimension to my card, I stamped a butterfly from the Take Flight Stamp Set also in Raven Detail Ink.
I added some Aqua Pigments in Turquoise and Violet with a water brush and then embossed before fussy cutting and adhering it to my card.
