Bunches of Berries

Hello friends! Kathy here today with a berrylicious card using the Strawberry Social stamp set, coordinating dies and Chroma Mist and Shimmer Spray.

Here are the supplies you will need to get started:

To start mist the watercolor panel with a light spray of water.

Place several spritzes of Candy Apple Red Chroma Mist on the paper followed Pearl Chroma Mist.

Use a small paint brush to mix the colors, creating a marbled background.

Set aside to dry (or use a heat tool to speed up the process).

After the panel is dry use a paint brush to splatter drops of Candy Apple Red Chroma Mist on the background. Repeat until you are satisfied with the background.

Stamp a variety of berries using Raven Detail ink. Color with your preferred medium. (I used alcohol markers.) Die cut all pieces and set aside.

Die cut the background using a large oval die. Reserve the background oval.

Die cut an oval out of white cardstock slightly larger than the background piece.

Adhere the background frame to the red card base.

Adhere the white oval centering over the background cutout and then layer the background oval on top.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock using red ink. Die cut the sentiment using a smaller oval.

Position the berries and sentiment on the card front. Adhere with liquid adhesive, using foam tape to pop up some of the images.

Wishing you the berry best kind of day!
