Brutus Monroe/ThermOWeb Week

Brutus Monroe/ThermOWeb Week

My good crafting friends, we are having a fun week of collaborating with our friends at Therm-O-Web! Be sure and check out our blog and Therm-O-Web's blog daily to see some great creations made with our products. Be sure and read this blog to the end to get a great incentive. (hint: prize opportunity)

Using the Brutus Monroe Simply Blends Square stencil/mask it was super easy to create this blended background. Using a stencil of skeleton heads, Deco Foil Transfer Gel was applied to the blended area of the card layer.  To prevent the gel from getting on the card layer the Simply Blends Square stencil was used as a mask. Once dried, the card layer was foiled in silver using Deco Foil.

Next, the Brutus Monroe Botanical Banners stamp set was used. The flowers were colored with Style File Markers and cut out using the Scan & Cut. The banner sentiment was stamped and cut also. The initial card layer was layered onto two coordinating layers and the flowers and sentiment were popped up using Thermoweb foam squares.

ThermOWeb is generously giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky fan. To get entered into the give away comment and like blogs and Facebook posts for both companies.

We are looking forward to seeing your creations on the Brutus Monroe Facebook Fan Page.

Enjoy
