Brutus Monroe Halloween Card using Deco Foil Products

Brutus Monroe Halloween Card using Deco Foil Products

Hello Everyone! This week Brutus Monroe has teamed up with Therm O Web to bring you some beautiful projects from both companies! So much fun! So today I have a fun Halloween card using the little devil from Halloween Inspiration Box from Brutus Monroe and Pewter Deco Foil from Therm O Web.

For my project I used Deco Foil transfer gel to foil the trees. After die cutting the trees, I taped the edges down to my craft mat so it wouldn't move while I was applying the transfer gel. When I was finished I carefully removed the tape and set it aside to dry to work on the rest of my card. You'll know the gel is dry when it's clear. In the photo below the Transfer Gel is still wet.

After the Transfer Gel was dry I cut a piece of the Pewter Deco Foil slightly larger than my die cut trees. I placed it in the carrier sheet with the pretty side of the foil facing up through my laminatior. Below is how it looks when foiled.

Now my card is ready to be put together.

Adhesives used from Therm O Web:

ICraft Mixed Media Adhesive for my foiled trees and watercolor background

ICraft 3D Foam Squares for the little devil

ICraft Sticky Dots for the bat and Jack O Lantern

Therm O Web Mini Tape Runner

And that's my card for today, thanks for stopping by! Make sure to visit each day this week for more inspiration using Brutus Monroe and Therm O Web products. Also visit Therm O Web's website to see their design team projects too! www.thermoweb.com

Have a great day!

Lori
