Library Background and Tina's Classroom
With school in session it is the perfect time to create using the new Brutus Monroe Library Background and Tina's Classroom stamp sets.
I am big on layering so I knew when I saw these stamp sets I just had to combine them. I stamped the Library background and colored it in using Zig water base markers. I used Deco Foil around the edge to give a little shine to the layer. Next I added a very thin black frame to set off the blackboard. The black board was stamped on Alabaster cardstock and I cut out both the outside and inside using my Scan N Cut. I colored the frame and the eraser and chalk using StyleFile markers.
I embossed a sentiment from the Teacher stamp set using Alabaster embossing powder on green cardstock to resemble old school chalkboards. I layered the pieces using foam tape and added metal corners. For additional interest I stamped and cut out the globe from the Tina's Classroom set and colored it with StyleFile markers.
Looking forward to seeing all the creations you make using the new Brutus Monroe stamps. Share with us at the Brutus Monroe Facebook Fan Group.
