BOO! (Glow in the dark Ghosts)

BOO! (Glow in the dark Ghosts)

Happy Halloween!  I thought I would bring you a spooky card today featuring a variety of recent projects and the best part ….  the card has GLOW IN THE DARK GHOSTS! (picture at the end of post)

Boo ghosts!

This was a fairly quick card to come together.  I started by stamping the Spider Web from Halloween Tags in the four corners of my A2 white card panel with Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink.  (I treated the panel with my anti static powder tool first.) Then I covered the sticky ink with the Shimmering Snowflake Embossing Powder and heat set it.  Next, I cut the panel down to about 3.75" x 5" and matted it on a black mat (4.25" x 5.25").

Then I used some sparkly black scraps to cut out the bats from the Halloween/Fall Tier Tray Add on die set.  I also cut out the ghosts from white cards stock and the ghosts back layer from plain black cardstock.  I covered the ghosts with Embossing Ink and covered them with the Glow in the Dark embossing powder.  I used my tweezers to hold the ghosts around the eyes to heat set.  Then I glued the glowing ghosts to their black backgrounds.

Next, I cut down a piece of the patterned paper from the Something Spooky Paper pack to add some fun polka dots and color to my card.  I stamped the BOO from the Halloween Tags set on some white cardstock and heat set it with the same Shimmering Snowflake Embossing Powder.  Then I used a blending brush to blend some Guppy ink from Simon Hurley Create. and cut it down.

I attached the dies cuts to my card front, only gluing the bodies of the bats down, leaving the wings free to be popped up.  I used some foam tape to pop up my sentiment.  Finally, I attached the whole thing to an A2 Card base.

Thanks for stopping buy and I wish you a safe and Happy Halloween!  I hope you all get treats in your buckets and not a rock!
