Birthday Card With Foiled Clear Toner Sheet

Birthday Card With Foiled Clear Toner Sheet

Hello crafty friends! Lauren here, sharing a card I made for my mom's birthday! She loves bright corals and pinks, and I had made this alcohol ink background a while back with her in mind. I can't seem to stop foiling lately!

I used the Amber Watercolor with one of the Distressed Circles clear toner sheets, and trimmed it down to fit over the background. I used Brutus Monroe glue behind the foiled circles to adhere it to the front without the adhesive showing through. For the sentiment, I actually used a stamp from the "Oh Deer" holiday stamp set, and masked of the word "Happy" from "Happy Holidays". After heat embossing it with Gilded EP onto Alabaster cardstock, I trimmed it down into a rectangle shape. I die cut the word "Birthday" from some gold foiled cardstock and used glue to adhere it to the white rectangle. I popped the sentiment up in the center of the card with foam tape to finish it off.

I love the look of foiling on cards! Have you made anything with the foiled toner sheets? Post your projects on social media, and don't forget to use the hashtags #BrutusMonroe and #CreateYourOwnEnding so we can see what you make! Have a great weekend.
