Best Gnomies For Life

The Gnomes featured in the new Tea Party Stamp Set are perfect since the customizable outfits allow you to mix and match for any occasion. When I saw this stamp set, I knew I wanted to use it and the Best China Stencil to create a gnome-themed card for my best gnomie.

To start, I created a background using the Best China Mixed Media Stencil and  Velveteen Glaze in Pumpkin Patch. Once the Velveteen Glaze dried I took the Metallic Aqua Pigment in Penny and splattered it across the background.

Next, I busted out my OLO Markers and got started coloring. With springtime just around the corner I felt shades of pinks, yellows, and greens would make the perfect colors for their outfits. Once the gnomes were colored, I assembled the gnomes using glue and added in some dimensions with some foam tape. 

To finish it off I added the perfect sentiment about best friends! This stamp set was so much fun to play with – I can’t wait to see what other looks I can create using the various outfits for these gnomes.
