Good morning friends! Today, I have a fun tutorial to share with you using stamps and aqua pigment ink. Creating this spread was very therapeutic for me and I just love the colors!
To begin, I used my Misti to stamp the images down using the Raven Ink onto watercolor paper. Then, I used my sticky Mat to hold down my page and Stick and Stamp Pigment Palette. This was my first time using the pigment palette and I just love it. It's so easy to use and easy to clean! And also, less messy during the creating process!
I used a water brush and some water to color in the images. This took some time to do, but oh is it worth it! Look at that background. I added some orange over the green, brown over the orange, and purple over the browns to make the colors pop. I'm no watercolor expert, but I must say, I'm impressed with myself. I just had fun...and enjoyed the process of experimenting!
I stamped some of the images and fussy cut them to add dimension.
Here is another shot. I'm super excited with how this spread turned out. It makes me so happy.
What do you think? Doesn't this spread make you want to play with aqua pigment inks?
Thanks so much for visiting today! Grab a few aqua pigments today. They are fun and the possibilities are endless.
