Hey there! Thank you for stopping by the blog today. Daniel here, with a chunky, funky, shiny card. This latest collaboration between Brutus Monroe and Therm O Web has kept my laminator running night and day.
For today's card, I started by foiling two A2 sized Cobblestone Toner Sheets designed by Christopher Alan with his DecoFoil transfer sheet called Silver Sketch.
I trimmed down and adhered one of the panels to an A2 sized black panel. Then I die cut the other foiled panel with a nesting hexagon die from Tonic. I cut a slightly larger hexagon out of black cardstock and some black fun foam and adhered them to the back of the foiled hexagons. I ran my Raven Detail Ink pad over the tops of the foiled hexagons and buffed the excess ink off the foiling, to give them a black background.
I adhered them to the front of the card panel and trimmed the excess off the sides. Then I adhered the entire panel to a white A2 sized card base. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Super Sentimental Stamp Set using Sterling Embossing Powder. I adhered the sentiment to the largest hexagon and finished off my card.
This card is chunky and shiny and heavy and manly. I love it. I hope you do, too.
I have included a list of supplies below for your convenience.
