Brutus Monroe Craft Glue and Foil Technique

Brutus Monroe Craft Glue and Foil Technique

Hey hey everyone.  It's Dana Joy here.  I'm so excited to be a part of the Brutus Monroe family.  I hope to inspire you to create beautiful projects using the amazing products featured here on the Brutus Monroe blog.  Shall we get started?

For my first project I tried a new technique.  I am a HUGE fan of pretty tags.  They are great to add to gifts but you can also use them on your card fronts.  Oh yes, they are no longer just the extra thing to throw on a gift bag. What is different about these tags they were created with the Brutus Monroe craft glue and some foil.  Yes, you can foil with glue.  I know...amazing right?!? But the best part is when you use the Butterfly Sentiments set, your tag is going to be GORGEOUS!!

To create this look all you need to do is "stamp" with glue in the same manner as if you where stamping with ink.  I used an empty ink pad and loaded it up with glue.  This pad is now my "ink pad".  It's a super easy technique to achieve a stunning result. I used the Butterfly Sentiments stamp set and the Cornflower Chalk Ink to add this beautiful sentiment to my tag.

I've attached a quick video to show you how this tag came together.  I hope you enjoy my little tutorial using these great products from Brutus Monroe.  Now it's your turn to shimmer and shine.  Head on over to the store and pick up your supplies to get yourself started.  We can't wait to see what you create.
