Hello my fellow crafters and happy Friday! Another weekend is here and it's time for another fun project. I made a baby mobile using the love you moon stamp set from the Brutus Monroe line as well as the Metallic Embossing Powder - Gilded. Let's get started....
Supplies: Brutus Monroe Love You Moon stamp set, Brutus Monroe Gilded Embossing Powder, Clear embossing ink, Embossing ink pad, Heat Tool, Wood paint(any colors of your choice), Paint brush, Assorted sizes of wood stars & circles, Wood moon, Hemp cord, Hot Glue Gun, and Glue Sticks
Paint the front and back of your moon, and all of your assorted sizes of stars and circles. Leaving some of them to emboss.
When embossing your shapes, do your sides first followed by the tops. To emboss the star edges I gently rubs the edges along the side edges of my
Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink Pad. With the smaller sizes I dipped the shapes into the embossing powder.
Once all of your shapes have dried, select a couple of the circles and stars that you would like to embossing with the moon and sentiment.
Afterwards I edged all of the pieces and just the plain painted pieces with the a clear
Alabaster Embossing Powder to give a glossy look to the pieces. I also glossed the large moon.
At random I matched the sizes up with different colors. I used the hot glue gun to glue my pieces onto the cord, and glued the second shape over top.
Once all of my pieces were glued onto my cord. I than glued them to the back of the moon.
Hope everyone enjoys this project as much as I did! Have a wonderful crafty weekend!
