Walter and Sara's Cards Brutified by Christopher

Walter's card:

Walter made this clean and simple thank you card using Raven Gold glitter cardstock. The card features each piece of the  Vintage Doily Die. Walter assembled each layer with strips of double sided foam tape to give the card depth & dimension.  After adhering to a cardbase, he used a gold metallic marker from is stash to edge his card.  He used Gilded Embossing Powder for the sentiment. After the sentiment was glued to the card, Walter added three clear drops with glue.  The result is a vintage styled thank you that is certain to make the recipient smile!

Christophers Brutified Version:

Christopher cut the largest (with circle) and smallest size from the Vintage Doily set from some Not Your Mama's Cardstock that was covered with Silver Sketch Foil Transfer sheets.  For the middle sized doily, he used some Chunky Holo Glitter Paper.  Christopher adhered these on the top of some Craft Perfect Mirror Cardstock which he scored every 1/4" from the back with a scoreboard.  For some extra shimmer, he layered his panel on some more Chunky Holo Cardstock and added a sentiment from the Inspirational Wreath stamp set.

Sara's Card:

Sara is playing with the Puncheto Roll today! This unique,fun product makes an eye-catching background to a card! She used the Build a Butterfly Stencil and the Raspberry Tart Embossing Powder for her butterfly focal point. For some added texture, she scattered some sequins from her stash.

Christopher's Brutified Version:

Christopher created an SVG file to cut out (out of acetate) the butterfly shapes that will align with the Build a Butterfly Stencil. He used some Silver Chroma Glaze with the stencil to create the detail on his butterfly.  He also cut a buttterfly out of Raven cardstock which is layered behind his Acetate/Sliver Butterfly.  After attaching the Puncheto with Sticky Dots, he scatterd some sequins from the Welcome Home pack.  Christopher choose a sentiment from the new Inspirational Wreath set to finish off his card.
