June Release!

June Release!

I had so much fun with this June Release. I loved all the stamp sets and it was easy to be inspired to create! The space-themed stamp set was a particular favorite in my house- not only did I have fun trying my hand at a slider card, but my son loved stamping the images beside me as I worked. I'll be showing a few pictures of all my creations on the blog today, and then in the next coming weeks I'll go into a little more depth on how I made each one!

First up, this fun slider card made with the LUCKY STAR stamp set. Like I mentioned earlier, this stamp set is a fun, space themed set with a great rocket ship image, a space man, and several planets and stars. There are also some great sentiments for building cards with!

Next, I used the big background stamp, HEART LACE, to create a background design on these black, kraft, and gold tags. I simply stamped out the design, cut the paper down to size which created two tags, and then embellished. LOVE the combination of the black, kraft and gold!

This next stamp set, FLORAL FRENZY, is another background stamp that I actually used on two of my projects this release. This first project is a small scrapbook page that I plan on adding into my planner after I create a pocket for it with my Fuse Tool. I think having the versatility to make scrapbook pages in different sizes is so practical! The simple but stunning floral images on this background stamp are fun to color in. I used a lighter, more pastel color palette with my Prismacolor pencils and just love the way it turned out.

The second project I created with the FLORAL FRENZY background stamp is this clean and simple card. I have once again colored in the floral images with colored pencils, leaving quite a bit of white space. Then, I paired the background stamp with a birthday sentiment from the new BIRTHDAY BADGES stamp set. This set has several birthday sentiments as well as a fun border stamp. The birthday sentiment that I used coordinates perfectly with the floral background stamp so I just had to pair them together!

Last but not least, I created a card using the ROSE BORDER stamp set. This is another fabulous floral set that is in more of a border image, so it can be stamped along the side of a card, fussy cut out, or even stamped along the side of your planners or scrapbook pages. Lots of possibilities here! There are also some great sentiments that you can pair with the roses on a card.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at these new stamp sets! There are so many different ways to use these that the possibilities are endless. Can't wait to see what you create with them!

Until next time,
Marie Nicole
