Merry Christmas Holly Card!
I love creating ink smooshed backgrounds. Especially when I do not have any crafty mojo or to use leftover paint or ink. Today's card started with me going through my backgrounds and finding this vibrant green A2 panel. One of my favorite Christmas stamp sets is the Poinsettia Joy! It has the most beautiful foliage for easy coloring or to create a simple card like today.
I stamped the Holly image with Brutus Monroe's Embossing ink in the upper and lower corner of the left side of my panel. I heat set some Sterling Embossing powder. Then I lined up the Merry Christmas from the set and repeated with the embossing ink and Sterling Embossing Powder, making sure to use an anti static powder tool before stamping.
Then, I cut the panel down to 4" x 5.25" and attached it to my Pre Scored Top Folding A2 Card base. For some added bling, I finished off the card with Red gems from the Buttons Galore Jewels Bright Mix.
